If the fight against time is to be won then every detail is crucial and can save vital seconds/fractions of time during every mile. The time will be the best judge of our work.
The best foundation for the optimimum time trial position must be obtained by use of a Biomechanical check-up, where the optimization of the contact points and the re-balancing the complete front area of the bike position (both and Town and lateral, basic and full) are indispensable to ensure the best pedaling efficiency.
The analysis of equipment and regulations are used to aid design and to customize position during the first part of the process of optimizing the time trial position.
The position of the rider in motion in each core position is analysed through imaging (Kinematicsvelò) and compared with the reference models of efficiency. The biomechanical parameters of efficiency have to meet those of aerodynamic efficiency.
Small adjustments of the time trial handlebars and arm/elbow supports, in particular the correct height and distance from the saddle are refined in every detail in order to find the optimal balance between aerodynamics and biomechanical efficiency.
For the test the rider should cycle five-ten minutes using high resistance with the time recorded as a bench mark for future comparisons and analysis.
The rider and the bike component positions are measured and recorded on a certificate and delivered to the customer who also receives non time trial basic biomechanical support during the first quarter.
The service will establish the optimal aerodynamic and biomechanical position with the result being the best possibile balance between the two in order to achieve the best all round position. The riders time will be the best judge of our success. The solid foundation for a time trial position check-up are those of Biomechanics, where the optimization of the supports and the re-balancing the front (c.complete) and Town and lateral (c. c. base and full) are the basis needed to attain the best pedaling efficiency for the time trial. The analysis of equipment/components and precise customization of the arm supports on handlebars represent the first part of the job of optimizing the time trial position. The values of height and distance of the supports in relation to the saddle are refined in every detail in order to find the optimal balance between aerodynamics and biomechanics. The time trial position is analyzed in each core position and movement analysed through imaging and kinematic (Kinematicsvelò) and compared with the reference models of efficiency. At the end of this test the performance parameters have to meet those biomechanics of aerodynamic efficiency. Finally, another five, ten minutes against high resistance in the new time trial position should be ridden, the time recorded, compared against the first test time to show the improvements gained. The time and any positional adjustments made will be recorded and to the customer along with free basic support in the first quarter. Ultimately, the best judge of this work will be: the stopwatch.
